The LORD said to me,“You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,and the ends of the earth your possession. (Psalm 2:7-8)
Even in chaotic circumstances, Jesus is king. When nations rage, people plot, pandemics spread, it may appear that God has somehow lost His authority. If there ever was a time that God seemed least in control, it was at the Cross where the royal Son of God was crucified. Yet, this was exactly the plan of God in making Jesus the refuge to those who come to Him. Let’s respond to God’s greatness with “fear” (worshipful awe), and God’s kindness with rejoicing as we serve Him today.
